SUMMER EVENTS
Wicker Park Cruise Nights
Check out the coolest classic cars and trucks during our monthly summer cruise nights from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wicker Memorial Park. Our DJ will be spinning some tunes and food will be available for purchase. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for comfortable seating. Enjoy the evening.
Jazz in the Park
June through September
Join us outside on the breezeway patio for some smooth jazz during our new Jazz in the Park series, beginning June 14, 2022. Additional concerts will occur monthly on July 12th, August 9th and September 13th.. Admission is FREE. Don't forget to bring your chair or blanket so you can relax and enjoy! Cash bar and food trucks will be available.
Summer Concert Series
June through August
One of the highlights of the summer is North Township’s Summer Concert Series. Beginning June 23rd, and continuing every Thursday through August 25th. North Township features some of the best bands around to perform at the Wicker Park Social Center Gazebo. The summer concerts attract crowds that hail from around the township and beyond. From vintage and contemporary rock to latin soul, the sounds of summer are always better was Wicker Park.
Summer Family Campout
Grab the family, your tent and head to the park for an overnight camp out. Activities include crafts and bonfire. Get ready to watch a family-friendly flick on the big screen under the stars. You bring your family’s favorite foods and drinks, bug spray and flashlights. We’ll do the rest.
Crosstown Classic
Join us May 28, 2022 for the annual Crosstown Classic as the Sox take on the Cubs at Guranteed Rate Field in Chicago. Game ticket and round trip coach bus from Wicker Memorial Park. Price is $75 per person.. Check in at 4 p.m. at Wicker Clubhouse. Bus leaves at 4:30 p.m. More info coming soon!
Pints in the Park
The 8th annual PInts In The Park features unlimited samples of more than 100 craft beers from about 40 different local and national breweries. Event includes live entertainment from the Crawpuppies as well as food trucks.General Admission is $45 (4-8 p.m.) and VIP tickets are $65 (3-8 p.m.), which includes early entry to fest, appetizers and tote bag. Food Truck Festival
Join us for our annual food truck fest at Wicker Park. A family friendly event that begins at 1 p.m. and takes you through to the evening with live music under the trees, this year with The Three Horsemen, Caught on Cline and ending the afternoon with I'm with Frank. Make sure to bring your appetites because there are plenty of menu items to choose from. Food truck offerings will be from all over the region.
